After School/Extended Day

Hancock Day School offers a rich selection of after-school programs designed to support working families, nurture student interests, and inspire creativity. From Extended Day to specialty after school programs, our afternoons are filled with opportunities to grow, explore, and shine.

Our after-school offerings provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for Hancock students. Families can choose from daily Extended Day, academic tutoring, and rotating enrichment programs like dance, robotics, and creative exploration. Whether students want to finish homework, get moving, or try something new, there’s a place for them here.

Extended Day Registration

Please complete one form per student to enroll in the Monthly Extended Day Program. This form only needs to be submitted once per year. For changes to your enrollment, please contact Heidi Zoll at hzoll@hancockdayschool.org.

Program Options:

  • Monthly Enrollment: $210/student (billed on the 1st of each month)
  • Drop-in Care: $20/student (billed retroactively on the 1st of each month)

Pick-Up: PreK-8th grade sign-out will be in front of the Primary Building.

Billing: Your FACTS account must be set to ‘Auto Pay’ for Extended Care.

THE HANCOCK SCHOLARS PROGRAM

The Hancock Scholars Program is an after-school academic tutoring service for current students. Offered in General Academic (homework support, reading, math, study skills) and Specialized/Intervention (reading intervention, Orton-Gillingham, Singapore Math, etc.) formats, sessions run from 2:45 to 4:30 pm with qualified HDS-hired tutors on campus.

The program is fee-based (billed through FACTS, no registration fee) and overseen by our Learning Coach, who matches tutors to students. General Academic tutoring spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
