Principal's Greeting

Giving students “roots to grow and wings to fly” is more than Hancock Day School’s motto.  It’s our ultimate goal and daily objective.

As a community of excellent teachers, talented students and supportive parents, Hancock has achieved outstanding recognition in Savannah for its ability to stimulate and motivate young minds.

Our “Back to Basics” curriculum makes us uniquely successful.  We meet our goal for quality elementary and middle school education by seizing every opportunity to enrich the minds and spirits of our children.  Our accredited curriculum challenges all students to become capable and confident learners, critical thinkers and effective communicators, while developing strong citizenship and character.

In our comfortable, new facility we offer an average student teacher ratio of 11 to 1.  We cherish our environment because it allows us to challenge and inspire each individual to perform to his or her utmost ability.

I invite you to visit our campus, talk with our faculty and observe our students as they engage in productive learning. We are confident that you will feel the warmth and security of the Hancock family, as well as sense the strong partnership between home and school.

Sincerely,

Francine Wright

Principal
