Middle School

The primary goal of the Hancock middle school education is to adequately prepare students for the challenging coursework they will receive in high school and beyond.  The grammar and reading portions of the curriculum focus on analogies, composition, novel studies, poetry, spelling and vocabulary.   Math classes consist of introductory level algebra and geometry.

Additional middle school courses are offered in geography, history, earth and life science, Spanish, art, music, computer and physical education.  Middle school students also have the option to participate in a variety of sports and clubs.  The Hancock middle school program stresses teamwork and time management, as well as superb academic coursework to assure that students are well-rounded as they enter into high school.
